I love to photograph children, young people, and families outside as well as in the studio. Little ones love to run about and explore their surroundings. Capturing the emotions and personalities whilst playing can make for some beautiful images.
Some ideas for an outside photoshoot could be parkland, woodland (especially when bluebells are in full bloom), a farm, your own garden, flower gardens.
It may be that you are planning to visit an animal park and would like some professional photos taken of your child feeding the animals. Perhaps you have a farm and would like some photos of your children on a hay cart, or with their pony. You may wish to include your family pet in some pictures.
My suggestions of what to wear would be:
Clothing that makes you feel comfortable, but if you could avoid Logos as these can take the focus away from you, and can be overpowering in a photo.
It is best to avoid thick, bulky jackets if possible, if it is cold, layering is better.
I love props, and should you wish to bring any favourite toys, hats etc, then please do.
